What a great show, THE KONG SHOW: CINCO DE MAYO-nnaise at the Iguana
VIP lounge was (Mon. May 3) with a sold-out crowd. Dinner, Drinks and
a Hilarious Show! And the pre-show concert by Andrew Cordle was really
classy! Congrats to MC Powell Leonard as Chuck E. Baby, plus magic Dave
Cremin, LionHearted Players Andrew Cordle and Cathy Schramm, comedy
Duo RevBill AndBetty Holland, comedian Rob Gorden, comedienne Sandy
Ehlers, and lights and sound tech Tom Bibla for a putting on a fabulously
fun show!

Plus,
the Mexican sombreros, the "Hellman's" Mayo and Taco Sauce,
the gazillion bubbles, the passion fruit Margaritas, the Hot Tamales,
the Dulce De Leche dessert, were all part of the fun! Ole!

The LionHearted Players have been keeping busy with the LionHearted
Players "HAVE A HEART" activities:
Powell Leonard and Miss Ella pledged a donation to Singer/Songwriter Mindy Raf's Kickstarter.com Comedy Record campaign and are eagerly awaiting the release of the record.
The LionHearted Players also donated to Long Island City's Green Space dance studio.
Co-Producer
Miss Ella volunteered time at Materials
for the Arts and met Mayor Bloomberg while helping to sort donated
arts supplies.
Then
the LionHearted Players got to shake hands with the Honorable Vallone
when he stopped by the Undercroft Performance Space at Trinity, Long
Island City, while Powell Leonard, the LionHearted Players fearless
leader, helped with the collection of emergency supplies for Haiti.
Then, on Sunday, February 28th at the Gotham Comedy Club, Powell Leonard and Miss Ella lent a helping hand to Rik Sansone and Jen Ryan, the hilarious comedy duo Rev. Bill and Betty Holland, at a Comedy Benefit for The Albert Schweitzer Hospital Haiti.
